Ridgemonkey baitboat don’t have GPS their latest model just has a sonar fitted on it if you want a compact boat Look at the boatman Vulcan they do a basic Vulcan or Vulcan gps or coming in April Vulcan gps with sonar it’s one handed remote website www.boatmanuk.com

Just bumping this up. Currently in the market for a boat and I really like the size and weight of the RM and echo addition seems a reasonable price.

Is the current one on the market a mk2 or are they still fairly useless?

I couldn’t see any notes regarding GPS or a return to user if it goes out of range.

Am I best just going for a ND2 with the works added?

Unless there are now other boats on the market, I’m after a compact, one handed remote, GPS(with return to user safety feature) and echo

Thanks
Belch

Agree - save your money and if you want a small reliable boat get an SB4

Ok just been out with this boat for the first time.
Already I have two small issues first one being that my tail rubber on my leadcore leader got stuck twice in the slot where you put your line through so bait dropped from hopper but rig lead etc was left dangling from boat ! I can get over this with a bit of pva foam but it’s not ideal. Also length of hopper is not long enough to have my rig laying straight out not a major problem but bit annoying after having a microcat. Anyone else had these issues?

Absolutely love the concept of this boat. The design, size, weight, smart dropper, reasonable price somewhat, but i'm glad to have read all of this.

someone on the ridgemonkey boat owners page on Facebook has opened the boat up and all the insides are labelled up as boatman...a boat you can pick up for around £250 on ebay

The MK2 is coming out early next year, they're calling it the Belgrano, you can do a bit of toast on it as it goes down
