All of the boilies are too soluble to safely use on the hair. I’m pretty sure you could use one on a rig but it would probably come off as you go to wind in.
Plenty of hookbait options for everyone.
I am out angling today and had a productive night with 7 fish so far up to 34lb (an incredible long wild looking common) and I have been playing around with different pop ups fished over Herb and pellets.
Deep c produced a few and the sting produced the better two! This is definitely a good time for bright hookbaits for me personally but I also know when not to have them out there. Matching food bait Wafters bottom baits or pop ups really come into their own in the summer.

Looking at the herb frozen, can I use them from the packet or is it best for the hard hookbait option?
Plus is it worth using a liquid attraction with them? Seen the herb, liver, and cal liquids they do

Only thing I have caught on the Sting is a Bream but then the Krill and Cal wafter 6ft away produced a decent carp for me. Only used them for 18hrs so happy with that as its a tricky water and it was -5°C at the time

Next trip out is late may so maybe a brighter bait will do the trick then

Evening lads
Glad you love the sting! Such a cult following for the hookbaits now and some mega catch reports coming in.
If you follow our media you will have some huge huge carp landed again this week
Lost track of the 40s and 30s but nice to see the first 60 from the U.K. on the herb and sting!
Just stepped in so I’m off to make some late dinner!
I’ll post pics at some point when I get chance!

Long term lurker of this thread who finally bit the bullet and got some Sting dumbbell wafters. Well they arrived today and have just produced my second fish of the year within 30mins of casting in. Not bad Gav, not bad at all!
