In reply to Post #247 Yeah pricey was deceiving, never really looked like much in his shots, but he had tough men dropping with ease. Shame his chin isn't so good, he definitely looked a world champ in the making early on. Never thought harrison looked anything over domestic or maybe euro level tbh.

In reply to Post #248 Yeah all of us who know pricey thought he would be world champ , such a nice bloke too.

In reply to Post #247 I said to my old man to watch out for David price years ago, I saw one of his early fights and he looked the real deal, absolutely gutted when it turned out he was chinny would have made a great champion.

In reply to Post #246 No until his defeat to danny williams he looked a world beater , he was set to fight matt skelton who pulled out williams stepped in , that loss did his confidence , he actually cracked my ribs , he did alot of sparring with wilder who took him out in a round , David price was the hardest hitter i came across , he knocked fury out as an amateur.

In reply to Post #245 Nice, did he punch as lightly for a big man as it looked?

In reply to Post #244 Not only watched , sparred around 50 odd rounds with him , unbelievable as an amateur , useless pro.suffered lots of injuries , pricey did him on my birthday 13 oct , wilder almost punched his eye out.

Just off the heavyweight scene for a few moments, George groves has retired today. i thought he may have a other fight left in him to try and fight james degale maybe or go for another shot at a world title...but he has today announced his retirement.
