One thing I will say is that the new changes are decent and well thought out.

Plus the pricing seems ok compared to the likes of Trakker and the new Nash stuff

I'll be waiting for feedback on the 1st lot before committing, as I'm sure a few will.

No benefit what so ever really but I bet a lot of people want to get one of the first ones before they sell out and have to wait another 6 months for the next boat from china. Carp fishing is more like a fashion statement these days.

What is the benefit in pre ordering a bivvy?

It seems like you pay maximum price, wait months after handing over some/all of the money and end up with one of the first batch with all the duffers?

It looks a very decent upgrade but I am not parting with my funds 4 months early and the weight of em is a downside IMO

Slow boats from china are always later than planned 😆😆

Do pre orders require deposit.....thinking cash flow ie, like Nash.

A very strange launch with nothing ready and just after Xmas too...hmm

It's Xl a Big 1 man XL...Fox was always clear, the Frontier has always been a 1-man bivvy, so I don't understand the whole 2-man thing because that has never been the case.

I don't disagree.

If you are calling something XL, bloody make it XL though.

As far as the options go, they either need to up their sizes so there is significant difference, or drop one of the sizing options, IMO.

why have 3 sizes, just do either a 1 man & 2 man or a 1.5 man & a 2 man.

F Dims: 250 x 185 x 130 cm.
X Dims 260 x 198 x 140cm.
XL Dims: 270 x 210 x 165cm.

I'd scrap the X, seems neither here nor there difference wise.

That said, even the XL doesn't look like an ideal 2 man bivvy for longer sessions.

TBH, I don't think any 2 man is great for longer sessions unless with a extension, those sizes seem normal to me.

Re weight, I'd rather have it and a solid product than not have it and a flimsy product. You get used to the weight, it's not a biggy tbh.

I think Fox could and should have created a tent connector that fits to a gazebo type shelter. If it's peeing down all week the last thing you want is a low extension, you need to be able to stand up and stretch. Something like the Outwell Event lounge & connector which you can add sides too if wanted.
