No, his next work swing starts tomorrow so he only got to watch today's free practices. He knows a few people who have tickets for the actual races and they are questioning whether or not to go due to the weather
Going to be interesting whatever the weather chucks up, it's Moto GP after all..........

Hi Chris
Had a text from a friend who works in Doha and the wind is blowing a lot of sand onto the track, not going to get better tomorrow for the race by all accounts. Looks like it's going to be survival of the fittest. I don't think qualifying will have much bearing on any of the race class results, gonna be a tyre weekend I think

High side, not good at all John 
Mainly the rear wheel slipping and then gripping
Mind you though, the introduction of the air bag suits is a big step forward imho. Think its Lorenzo on the Alpinestars site, 150mph high side, air bag goes off and he walks away
So much power those bikes, unreal, don’t seem to come off them as much as the 500cc two stokes though, they were mental. I would love a go on one, steady away though

Loving all this, just wish they could eradicate hi sides somehow, every time I see one my heart is in my mouth so as to speak. I know Lorenzo went over on a slow corner, but........ horrible

A great race of many here, in the rain though, mental
in the wet!
I saw Stoner at a Caldwell BSB event and he lead the 125 race by half a lap! I thought, yep, he’s gonna be something special
