My first thought - I DO like the look and idea of them, I'm a long term Neville user getting a bit tired of the bodies cracking when you tighten the screws on the back after replacing the batteries..

That's what I would have thought but said poster all I can determine is perhaps they wanted it to be illuminating ✌ï¸

I thought it was the bobbin that detected it was going down rather than up?

Sort of, with other bobbins you still get a different tone, just no visual indication.

Looks like from that video they have drop back tone as well. Not for me though, I am a fox man now.

The moulds are same so that the cases are interchangeable ðŸ‘
The electronics are different also the pcbs and receivers are different
Like many British manufacturers there is always going to be a higher cost
I watched a video on YouTube on jags rucksack dominated by folk moaning about the price
Not sure what background work wise here but manufacturing costs have risen a lot hence the cost today for uk manufacturing

when i first seen they were releasing them i had in my mind around 80-85 quid each...baring in mind all the technology,moulds etc is already being used in the v2

It seems most of the comments about these new alarms is the price,lots of negativity on the you tube video ive just watched
