I was surprised at Povetkin coming in SOOOO light at the weigh in he kept his trainers on and jogging bottoms to scrape 16 stone so in reality he was in the 15s !! so we can guess his tactics
gonna be a goood night

Got to agree Jeff. KT is lacking in reach too so she is going to have to be on top of her game tonight.

I thought Povetkin looks up for this, probably his last chance. I would expect DW to bulldoze him though

All set for another great night of boxing

Can,t wait for this ! If Kt gets dragged into a war she will lose , she needs to box a controlled disciplined fight, povetkin looks spot on for this but at 40 I think whyte will have too much for him . Two interesting fights which could see any outcome.

Weigh in is up

KT has got to have the jab working well and movement to win this

Whyte, now this is interesting because he certainly cannot fight at a high tempo, came in heavy and Povetkin very light. He is either going to get caught early on or he could seriously trouble Whyte after 6 for me, if, and this is an If, if he has got the stamina and fitness to match the look

agreed
and I think KT is going to really struggle to win this one they will have both learnt a lot about each other
from the last fight reckon its going to be a proper war just hope KT sticks to skillful boxing and can stand up to the constant power thats coming

Risky fight for Dill to take but he should do it , KT on the other hand I'm worried about.

Whyte vs Povetkin

Could be an interesting one. I expect Whyte to blow him away but Povetkin does have a bangers chance i suppose

Im guessing the KT one will be the fight of the night

I think from the opening stages we could see that, different class and I think Fowler banged some weight on, looked massive compared, that’s why I don’t think he can stay at that weight

As I said below, two to three rounds earlier. Yes he was taking shots but he was not exactly getting gist for me, just out classed. He will have learned a bit from that though

And I agree what was said earlier, it is the corners job to protect him, they asked him clearly several times if he wanted to continue and he said he wanted the extra rounds. They both know each other, if I had have been there I would have let him carryon. If he was getting smashed all over the towel would have been in

Interesting Fowler’s Froch style though, might turn out to suit him, that jab is a proper weapon with weight behind it, not the best athlete though for me and struggles for the full 12.

The fight should have been ended 4 rounds earlier , towel should have come in , thats how fighters end up seriously injured , he was never gonna knock fowler out so had no chance ,bad show from his corner.

I agree but he wasn’t exactly hurt ???
behave ?
he was getting his ears boxed off he would of needed a knockout to win and that was never going to happen ??? so what do you do wait till he gets hurt ? or pull him out to save him from himself ?
