Thank you Darren, thank you Dave, thank you Jack, thank you Dean, thank you Andrew, thank you Alex, thank you James.
Thank you all for the kind donations.
I will be putting all names of donators from here & Faceache into a hat and drawing someones name on the 1st April. I'll post the winner of the £200 of hook baits on here. It's a chance to get some Krill, Cell, Bug, or anything whatsoever where the base mix & powders are publicly available for sale. Made our way, put through our process. It could be your own bait, made into a hook bait form by us. This is not available to anyone else whatsoever.
This is the same Colin Hunt back in September 2015 with a 50+ UK Common. He caught this (the biggest in the lake), also the second biggest (uncaught for three years) + three others in his first & only four nights as a member. Then he got banned, simply as the owner presumed he was up to no good in some way for these absolutely stupid results.
He caught them all on S2.

VPN's change your location & your IP address. I am of the personal opinion, that anyone who needs to visit this forum by changing their identity, are simply not here for any good reasons whatsoever.

We have received an incredible number of messages over the past week on our work mobile, from both CF members & CF watchers as guests. Thank you all so much. I'll write the same thing here, as has been replied to so many of those messages. The moment VPN's are blocked on this forum, allowing people to have multiple users (even after being banned over & over again) I will be straight back. Until that time, it's just untenable for me to be here sadly. I don't like the other forms of social media for my own personal use. I much prefer this forum. Being sport for absolute dinlos on here is no fun though.
VPN's change your location & your IP address. I am of the personal opinion, that anyone who needs to visit this forum by changing their identity, are simply not here for any good reasons whatsoever. Over the past few years it has become like a sport for certain people (previously banned members) with far too much time on their hands to have multiple users on here. But that's just my opinion, it's not my forum, I'm just a member… I can't block VPN's.
The post below is on our Facebook page. The below also applies to anyone on here. From as little as a fiver donation you could win some very exclusive hook baits from us.
A real Donald Leney special.
This is Colin Hunt. Many of you may well know Colin, he's been around the big carp scene for a very long time now. I know Col from Roach Pit, more than a decade ago. I was so saddened to hear recently that he has suffered from a number of debilitating strokes over the past few years. In 2022 Colin suffered back to back strokes. In July 2025 he had yet another really bad stroke. He now suffers from memory loss, epilepsy and has facial paralysis because of it all. He's a real fighter though and he keeps bouncing back! If you search on Facebook for Catchforcol you will find a group set up by his friends to promote a fish-in that is happening on Manor & St Johns on the 27th March. Raffle tickets are being sold to raise money for the Stroke Association on behalf of Colin. So many great prizes from carp fishing companies across the board. Lots of famous anglers attending the event, from Ian Russell to Lewis Read and so many more. You will find all of the prizes on the Catchforcol page, from numerous large tackle and bait firms. Along with many exclusive auctions for some incredible donations. From one off paintings of Terry Hearn holding Bazil, to lake exclusives on some incredible pits. Signed books from the likes of Tom Bankes and Micky Gray, signed tackle from the likes of team Korda. Solar Tackle even donated a motorised barrow to help Colin to get back out fishing. The list is endless. We sent a donation of £350 of our hook baits for the raffle for Colin, along with a TackleBox CFX take apart 12m baiting pole, with extensions taking it up to 20m. Float, spoon and all of the accessories needed. Kindly donated by Gary Peet of the TackleBox. Lots of Col's friends have donated large sums of cash and amazing prizes for the raffle/auctions. Any other company that would like to donate, see the Catchforcol page on Facebook to contact Colin & friends directly.
Anyone who makes a donation on the JustGiving link below of £5 or more, please add your full name on the JustGiving page. Then post 'done' in the comments of this post. We will pick out a winner at the end of the month at random and send them £200 worth of any of our newest hook baits of your choice, on next day delivery. Or if you want something else a little bit more exclusive from us... Sticky Krill? Mainline Cell? DNA Bug? We will look right after you! The more multiples of £5 your donation contains, the more entries you receive. All proceeds from the event go directly to the Stroke Association.
The fish Colin is holding here is a fifty plus year old true Oxfordshire Leney, caught by Col just last week. There's only a very tiny handful of these incredible old fish left in the entire country now. We sent Col a couple of extra tubs of our hook baits to use for himself at the event after our donation. First trip out with them on the pit he is currently fishing, Col caught this incredible old Leney carp on a Fizz S2. It's hard to put into words the joy this capture has brought to Colin. He's finally back out on the bank doing exactly what he loves.
Please make a donation on the link below if you can afford to. The Stroke Association are helping people like Colin every single day.

Again, thank you for the kind words. It's all good, life moves on.
Better to end this thread from me with some happy faces... Not posts about sad old internet blokes, with mental health issues and broken lives as per the last few posts.
Better to end it on this.
Albi is only five years old. Albi absolutely loves carp fishing. It makes him smile, a lot (apart from when scaly's slap him around the mooey like in the bottom pic).
That's what it is really all about. Those happy faces.

shame - don't blame you. Life's too short to waste on arguing with morons. Hope you are still able to post the odd story/bait tips on here from time to time. Or maybe just write a book!!

In reply to Post #92 Crying shame for the forum Mark . Fully respect your wishes. Good luck in everything you do in the future. And a massive thanks from me for everything that you've done in making my dreams come true with some of the fish I have caught. All of which have been down to using your hookbaits. Cheers

In reply to Post #89 I suppose you're right in that respect. Just a shame the a***holes couldn't be stopped somehow.

Sorry to hear this Mark, truly a sad day for the forum, Your contributions have been invaluable to so many on here. I guess you've been so close to pulling the plug many times but finally decided enough is enough.
The trolls will suffer the most though as their envy will continue to eat them up from inside even more now you've removed their means of venting it.
All the best fella ðŸ‘
