I could only think he'd been involved in the distribution or something to even get close to that figure. Which was ultimately given to cc Moore I believe anyway. So maybe he lost out on that kick back which had been agreed? His Mrs is surely just part of the package rather than paying both? Just give her free gear as a sweetener. Seems unrealistic for a bait firm to be able to give 25k a year + tackle + bait. Would they really make that back in sales?

Was having this same discussion with a friend last night it does seem a ridiculously large amount of money. I'm guessing it will have been two wages his and the wife's and if it was over an extended period it could be possible I suppose.

That wouldn't surprise. What with the other rumours of stock being held up at ferry ports due to payment issues. Nash bait closing supposedly because it wasn't viable.
Ether he jumped ship. Or they weren't renewing his contract anymore.

If rumours are to be believed he was chasing a 6 figure sum owed to him at one stage. You can see why he looked elsewhere if the rumours are true.
