Solar CH sp C-tech (CH02) is £239 in Belgium/Netherlands currently
Stock clearance because new bedchairs are arriving in 2024
£239 is an insane price for one of the best bedchairs on the market, so definitely keep an eye on deals

In reply to Post #39 I had a similar experience while fishing a three day competition at a Texas lake last November, with temps taking a plunge well below freezing at night.
While I was cozy in my Trakker AS 365 and Levelite ELS, my Wife had a couple of awful nights on airbed with numerous blankets.
Needless to say, she now has a brand spanking new Trakker Lumbar bed and has filched my AS 365.
I bought a Cyprinus Magnatex bag for her also, but she wanted the Trakker.
The Cyprinus bag is very toasty too, I must add, but I will need a lighter bag for our far more prevalent warmer night time temps.
I used the Cyprinus early this month, with temps in the 50' s F and it was too warm really.
Thinking Trakker Big Snooze might fit the bill ?
I haven't tried the Trakker Lumbar Bed, but she says it's very comfy.
My older ELS is still the best bedchair I hwve slept on to date.....

In reply to Post #50 Will try one of the inflatable mattresses hopefully it works
I believe there are new solar beds due early next year, I think the new version would benefit from a better mattress, I know avid have basically copied the c tech with their new bed and put a memory foam mattress on top. Don't know the build quality would match that of solar though
The other thing all beds should have is the tension straps going round the sides of the bed, I know fox do it on theirs. It helps get the bed much flatter when packed away

In reply to Post #49 I looked into mattress toppers a while ago, you can a get them custom made quite reasonably (sub £90) by places that do custom narrow boat mattresses, also custom van ones,
Personally I've just changed my helium 3.8 SIM for a deeper Outdoor Revolution 7.5cm, I have to let a bit of air out of the 7.5 as find it a bit hard, but I bought it bigger for that reason.

What are people’s thoughts on a memory foam mattress topper
As opposed to a self inflating mattress? Was thinking of cutting and getting one covered myself but there’s one in the market made by a firm called abode

In reply to Post #43 Not sore hips but a sore back. Just done 2 nights on it and used a thicker sim which has made a massive difference. Couldn't get on with a thin sim as the base is so firm. Link below to what I'm using now. Bulky but does the job!

In reply to Post #45 I've recently bought the c tech, did a 3 day session and was completely crippled.
I suffer with my back terribly, the old nash indulgence wide boy I used for a few years which had no lumber support at all made it worse
Past few years managed on flatliter mk2 which was pretty decent, I'd start to get back trouble on longer trips using it but was happy with it. It had seen better days hence the c tech, my god I've never been in so much pain before. Maybe it's just to firm for a side sleeper with back issues, I'm used to pain but that was genuinely horrific. Just wondering if any other side sleepers who suffer with back issues have had similar?

In reply to Post #43 Yeah I’m a side sleeper, and no no issues with my hips

In reply to Post #43 I had the non SP one that's supposed to be softer.
Even with a Helium 3.8 SIM I still got sore hips and legs...... now got a Flatliner which I have no trouble with
I'm 6'4" and weigh well north of 20 st which probably doesn't help haha!!
You did ask though !
