One of the mistakes beginners make is thinking the reason they don't catch is the bait. 99% of the time its because you have got the location wrong.

If you can choose a proven bait - Mainline Cell is a great example - and stick with it, that's one variable that you don't need to worry about. Focus on putting it in the right place.

If over time you end up using more bait, and want it a bit cheaper then you can start looking at some of the 'direct to consumer' companies - you'll need to buy 10-20kg minimum to make it cost effective really. I would recommend the following

Baitworks
ABS
Premier
Oxford Carp Baits
Aqua Baits
RG Baits
Essential Baits
(there's others too -these are just the ones that come to mind that I know are quality)

Personally I've used Premier's 'Matrix Plus' for years - I have total faith in it.

If it’s a runs water I would be on particles mate cheaper to get competition going there ain’t a fish that swims that won’t eat hemp and maize. Just give it a go nothing to lose.

Ahhhh I see it now in reply to post 31 My bad I do apologise

I would just use maize if it’s that type of venue mate. Or if you wanted knock a spodmix up some hemp and maize. It’s cheap and will probably out fish boilies on a match type venue
