We all do that in holland, even in the midst of winter. Much cheaper than a bait boat and all that.
Will have a look, always funny to see british anglers mostly struggling in holland. And this is not a smear or whatever, i'm sure it's the same the other way around, angling is angling but the circumstances can make you scratch your head.

Exactly that, each to their own, not something I would do personally but I do use a boat, scope, echo etc in my European fishing (where allowed of course). Is it any different to wading a bait out & using your polaroids to find a nice spot? Drones & bait boats... i think that's different again! In this case the guy is using his hands / body etc to position a bait and freebies. No technology used at all. I don't know whether that makes it acceptable or not! Fair play to him. It must take some skill to do that!

I don't use a bait boat , boat and scope ... or drone in my angling ... does that make me old fashioned 👀
I prefer a lead or at a push a marker float ..
Each to there own of course, I just found it mad on a Dutch park lake ..

Been happening for years. Wasn't there a guy called Scuba Sid (possibly Dutch as well) who was doing this on, maybe, Cassien and other waters years and years ago? Can't see that it's any different from using a boat and scope personally. Albeit a bit more risky perhaps.

Just sat and watched latest baitworks European adventure video .
I really enjoy these and the fact they aren't too in your face ...
My reason for posting is that during the film on one of the Dutch lakes the lads describe how a Dutch angler is 'snorkelling' his baits out to his spots ???
Is that a step too far ??
