Yep, thats the one but i used rig tubing as i dont use lead core. Seemed to work for me so was happy with the tubing.

Used it in France and caught a few over a slightly weedy patch so was happy with the results. Cant remember the bead moving down the tubing to be honest. Need to set it up again as new lake has low lying weed in places.
It was Elliot Gray as mentioned in another post but i dont use lead core so used tubing instead. Seemed to work fine.

Does he using tubing then?? I thought he used a short length of leadcore?

How did you get on with it Paul?? Did the bead on top travel down the tubing on a hooked fish ok??

I saw Luke Stevenson fishing naked chods but with 6-7 inches of leadcore between the lead and bottom bead .

I use 7 inches of tubing between the lead and the bottom bead. Saw it on youtube but not idea who the angler was.

Have a look on Google or YouTube at 'naked chod rig'
You can get naked chod kits from Korda or Bank tackle or even buy the components and make your own up. .
I use it a fair bit on weedy waters and fish it straight on 18lb Fluoro ..
You can add a bit of putty up the line to sink it even more ..
Elliot gray gives a good demo of fishing it on YouTube

💯 agree. If using fluoro then no real need for tubing, definitely not with a choice rig

As you are using fluoro, You could just fish it ‘naked’ with no tubing.

never used a chod rig before, will be using fluorocarbon main line with tubing will this be ok as leaders are banned.
