Johnson Ross Tackle can help with a new Tip Section.

A very good mate of mine had exactly the same thing happen to him on 3 separate occasions with the Hi-S 220’s. Needless to say he has now moved them on.

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help or point me in the right direction.

I have a Free Spirit Hi-‘S’ 220 13ft carp rod that has been brilliant for long-range fishing, but unfortunately the top section has broken in half.

To be hones I’m surprised and a bit worried as it happened during the cast, nothing mega, just normal cast to 120m with a solid bag (small one).

I'm looking for a genuine replacement top section to match the rod perfectly.

Has anyone:
• Got a spare top section from a Hi-‘S’ 220 (or compatible model) they’d be willing to sell?
• Successfully sourced a spare from Free Spirit recently and can share contact tips?
• Seen one for sale on eBay, Facebook groups, or elsewhere?

Any help or advice would be massively appreciated — these are fantastic rods and I’d love to get it back in action.

Thanks in advance and tight lines! 🎣
