I think I read somewhere that Gary Bayes has taken that on now, alongside the other waters he runs in the area?

I don't know if Lattenbury Lakes AKA Far Fen is still going as a syndicate?
Mature gravel pit, floods in winter with all the other Fens ( inc Fen Drayton) plus the river so you never really know what's in there. Not a manicured bank and just pitch up and bung in a few boilies and fish over them venue but if you put the effort in you could be in for a surprise.
Last I heard it was still going about 6 years ago. A very much under the radar water, due to better known venues in the area.

People to tend to head to to their preferred spots, but i'd suggest walk the lake when you get there and the fish will show.... lake might be getting on for 20 acres in 2 halves with ~20 pegs, i rarely fish 'weekends' just grabbing the odd overnighter and would suggest there would typically be 6-8 on, in the week i'd often have the complex mid-summer to myself!
Whittle would be classed as easy with Thorney being medium....

I was a member there last year. It never gets busy you will always find a decent swim. Been fishing well also Thorney is a hard lake but much nicer fish. Whittlemere you should catch no problem

Thank you for that information. Sounds like that is what I am after, I just didnt want it to be like rock hard and fishing for few bites a year. Would you know how busy it gets there or not? On a friday at say 5 o'clock will it be rammed or still plenty of space?

Tickets are available and there are two lakes on site, Whittlemere the larger of the two is well stocked and if you are on fish, fish well and bait for them multiple hits are easily achievable - avg weight is ~low-mid twenties with a good spread of upper 20's and 30's....

Looking for a syndicate in Cambridgeshire for next year? I have come across teakettle fisheries near Whittlesey. Would this be a good water to get name down on? Anyone know if it is a rock hard water or are they pretty catchable if get things right? Any other waters that I can get my name down on would be great?
