Sorry for late reply. Bloody hard going. Not knowing how the lake worked I got there late and time I walked around it was busy (for me) found fish in a swim, would have been perfect but was a double and not paying £66 a night, went in swim next door hoping they'd come past me. managed to find a tiny hole about 2ft round only 5 wraps out and next morning it was away from that spot much to my surprise. Moved following afternoon after seeing sod all to a corner swim where wind was hacking in and saw 2 straight away. Night in there for nothing. Moved next day to the motorway bank where quite a few had been coming from, did 2 nights for nothing in there even with them showing over the spots. Not loads came out, they started spawning down the shallows and food wasn't on their minds. R enjoyed it, issue is competing against gps sonar baits boats you have no chance, but hey ho, not for me but that's modern day carp 'fishing' for you. Happy with 1 especially as it was my first time and was hard going with quite a few ppl blanking on 5 nights

Always found peg 33 consistent and with its own water. Left margin, islands and the gravel spot in front of smallest dot island to your right.

Not really. Iv not seen it but heard it was the little ones getting a bit horny, so it's been closed. Tbf it's given me an 'excuse' to go to farlows as I prob never would unless my hands been forced per say

Hey people. First time ever going to farlows tomorrow for 5 nights. Have zero knowledge of the place. Is there any advice anyone can give for this time of year? Expecting it to be busy and not bothered about getting in the top pegs. Just after any help really. Got a load of bait as was expecting to do a week on my syndicate but it's closed for spawning. Always wanted to give farlows a go and never had time or clubs/syndicates have always taken president - so now's the time
