Exactly what I did as one final try and it was a sticky tare button. All sorted, cheers

Check its not a sticky ‘tare’ button or something, try giving everything a good squirt with some switch cleaner and giving it all a good press, might fix it.

Tar mate. Luckily enough he is 5 mins from where I live so I’ll get in contact. Leaving for France next Friday being the problem. I do have rueben dials so not the end of the world

Yeah first thing I did lol. Also with decent batteries not the cheap Kodak type ones. Prob makes no odds but worth a try.

daletronics fixed this issue on mine £35, sold them straight after and got rubens. r16 is firmware version by the way

Left my fox digital scales (new type) for a few months unused and now they constantly flash like when you zero a sling etc. Tried just leaving for a few days with the batteries out in case moisture had got to them, same problem. I do get a r16 flash up when you put the batteries in if that means anything to anyone?. Thanks
