Ok ive mentioned here before about the line falling behind the spool on my Basias and how much of a pain in the Arse it is.

I can see where this happens now having actually paid attention.
Its occurring a lot where there s some slack and the reel handle falls forward under ts own weight, presumably with not enough tension to put a good wrap on the spool.

Was out dong a stint with my mate and the reel on his spod rod had brushes on either end of the the rotor arm making a contact with the spool, I imagine to prevent this problem.
Thinking about adding my own brushes the the Basias rotor, trouble s the gap between the rotor and base of the spool s pretty big.

Otherwise nice reels proper smooth with a truly silky clutch
