In reply to Post #16 It's not available for Android 16 on the play store.
I've been looking for an app myself, as Google Assistant is a bit hit & miss. Especially when the geese are kicking off or the wind is blowing etc.
I'm going to try out Len's Buddy as suggested.
..I nearly got the chance to take it for a spin this morning, however, after setting my phone up on a mini tripod & positioned to perfection, someone walked over & offered to take the photo for me..

In reply to Post #15 They run on Android so Sensory Voiceselfie should work. Been great on my Samsung for the last 3 years, so much so I've stopped taking a camera with me

In reply to Post #11 You can also record a custom command to take single or multiple shots and give it the command word of choice.
I use “snap” to take single pics and “shoot” to take multiple pics, a few seconds apart, saves you keep saying the word or phrase.
In settings - voice control - commands - custom - create new command
You give the command a word then record the custom gesture by simulating pressing the take photo button on the screen.

On an iPhone, go into Settings > Accessibility > Voice Control and turn it on. Open camera app and say 'Turn volume up'.
Just remember to turn it off when not needed.

In reply to Post #1 If it’s an iPhone - accessibility voice control is so bloody simple and no app required , set up for numbers then just say the number to shoot I discovered it in here after using various apps and find it brilliant.

In reply to Post #1 I use Sensory Voiceselfie on my Android and can't fault it, very easy to use. Probably not as much functionality as some others but for ease of self takes its brilliant for me
