Think it just feels thinner as im used to my aqua bivvy which is a lot thicker and much nicer colour.

The cygnet now trakker storm poles with the two thumbscrews are excellent and dont stick. Can pick them up for £20 each from tft.

Thanks for the replies, Its the bivvy version and not the brolly that I'm looking at, saw the 150 at the Todber tackle shop and the material certainly didnt feel any thinner than my Frontier.

In many outdoor pursuits lighter weight for the same performance would be a positive. In ours people still hold waxed canvas up as the pinnacle in brolly material.

I don't understand why people keep going on about the thin material in all honesty. Isnt that suppose to be progress making something that is easier to setup and put down and weigh less with the same attributes of what came before it?
The material is not any thinner than my Nash Blockhouse Pro or the Nash Titan T1 pro I sold for the RS. In fact its Hydrostatic head rating is rated at 25 000mm compared to the 20 000mm of the best Nash/Fox product. IMO the RS is far superior to the Titan. Thing weighed as much as a house and was a nightmare to put up and down. It was also very solid but in 40mph with the massive peak it wanted to lift off.
Storm poles I cant defend they are shyte

I was actually thinking of doing the same. But spending £120 on 2 x storm poles pisses me off in all honesty

Been using one pretty well everyweek since they came out.
Yes pricey and the storm poles aren't the best.
Quick up and down, and stable in windy conditions.
I use a skull cap and ground sheet in the colder months.
No damage and no condensation.
Overall been a very good product.

Ive only opened the bag to have a look at it. Mine weighs a ton but its the RS150 model not the brolly. Im going to replace the storm poles with some jag stormsticks as hate those twist lock quicksticks as always stick.

In all honesty it's thin but quality is good and it's hard wearing so I can't complain. It's rock solid in a storm. The plus side of it is it weighs a lot lighter and it erects and packs away that much easier.
Apart from the condensation mentioned before the only real negative I have is the storm poles are really cheap and they can easily bend. That and obviously the price which is silly.

I have one with every optional extra. Sets up in seconds, decent headroom and overall relatively light. Material is on the thin side. Also wished had a zip in ground sheet. For me the condensation is a bit much and that's with vapour shield and skull cap or extension on with front panel off. Lots of air vents.
Don't think it's worth the rrp in all honesty but I still enjoy mine
