In reply to Post #8 To be fair to this company I rarely watch videos about bait from anyone.
Thinking about it I rarely watch angling videos, blogs and all of that sort of stuff.
My main source of information is from forum members themselves

In reply to Post #9 Sorry Andy of course, my comment was meant more from a anglers pov, most anglers think pellet and it's fish meal based, and I'd say the vast majority used are too.
I joined a syndi around 2017 and it was my 1st experience of BPM and as you say, a different approach. I'm quite happy putting that video up, you only have to take one look at their site to realise it's not a bad company to link, in fact we should be quite proud of it here in Britain
And I'll stick to my guns, you can take something from that video. EDIT, even if it's not the norm, the op also didn't say what pellet.

In reply to Post #8 I think you'll find that pellet ingredients do vary quite widely. I'd say that BP Milling are a prime example of this.

In reply to Post #7 That's your choice. Personally I think you can take something from it anyway, as you can from any bait makers video, but you can't if you don't watch it. It's not as if pellet ingredients vary wildly!
Be quite hard to find a independent video nowadays, just the way it is, if it doesn't have a name associated with it for some reason it doesn't hold the same value, social media driven world.
I'm not sure BPM even needed to make that video sales wise but I'm sure it helped a few.

In reply to Post #5 I'm not going to sit through a company trying sell their own pellets.
Fortunately others have and they have noted that putting pellets in a spot that's already been fed is inconclusive.

In reply to Post #5 At least I can see what's happening or not so I know to stop or start. Good reply there thanks.

In reply to Post #1 With current temperatures I'd expect a frozen boilie to pop to the surface in about a week. The pellets will obviously have fallen apart by then, but still be starting to go manky. The particle tends to stay viable for longer, but when it goes it goes really horrid and can kill a spot for a long time. I did just that by feeding maize in during the winter, convinced that it would be getting eaten. It wasn't and that spot was ruined for months.

In reply to Post #2 Only 6ft maximum and bird life not on it yet very very low stock with I strongly believe no nuisance fish with what seems to be being caught atm I thought timing was about right.

In reply to Post #1 Not even getting polished of by bird life?
Its one of those things if its getting eaten great stuff, but this time of year might be a bit premature to start imho, had spots getting visited all through winter but never started this early.

Just starting some prebaiting with sweetcorn, pellet, boilies and chickpeas.....if it's not eaten how long before it would have a negative impact at this time of year anyone?
