So exactly what I said then, except 500 instead of 600 lol.
Well done, it’s a bit fiddly, but easy enough once you’ve sussed it

My picture keeps coming out massive

It's just a case of adding width="600"> at the end of the links

I tried that but it didn't work

A few pics of my ‘alternative’ split cane vintage gear. This is my ‘alter ego’ set up when I want to escape the pressures of life, including modern carping and all the associated hype, social media and Wannabees.

Rods are hand made by myself to my design 12’ 2 piece approx 2 1/2 TC. Landing nets is also handmade to a design by Richard Walker and the indicators are homemade too.

Not sure how far that margin extends to the left but a run on the LH rod could be a lot of fun ...or is that part of the 'challenge'

Folded handles ...and you're worried about pods...

I have a jag pro lite grey micro I think they were called the one that folds into 4 that everyone copied.
used it once lol
However
I always have a set of cross bars in the rod bag if I need to make one up.
Along with stage stands I could cobble something to cope with any bank I come across

I used to have the Gardner one with the plastic ends that had 4 ally sticks that crossed over.
So bad it was great haha

solid mate, pegged at the back, storm poles in the front into the ground, I find if you nip the front and rear buzz bar bolts with an Allen key and use the jag locking tool to make sure the buzz bars are tight its solid

Just wish I had tarty stuff to post a pic of

Oh for sure, but I'd imagine that means TCF hosting the pics, is that costly, and if the forum servers go down like they have in the past.

Don't buy anything unless it's going to put more carp on the bank. Maybe a pack of expertly sharpened hooks in your most used pattern. Or a good pair of Polaroid sunglasses.

The tarty tackle thread is not available anymore it seems so I hope you will share pictures of your set ups here incl. interesting small brands if there are any left nowadays.
