Hate the new updated app. They should’ve left it alone. I rarely even look at it now.

In reply to Post #22 Cant see it on my met office app ??

In reply to Post #1 Important update: the carp anglers campaign for air pressure on the met office app (CACFAPOMOA) has been successful. The head honcho’s at the met office have listened to our cries and finally seen sense - air pressure is back on the app.
The big take away - don’t f*ck around with carp anglers. We’ll mobilise quickly and complain loudly on outdated forums and we won’t take no for an answer.

In reply to Post #19 Cheers, I'll take a look.

In reply to Post #18 You can search a different location (such as Perranporth Beach) and it used to show the tide times.

In reply to Post #11 Tides chart.com
I use click on an area close and it’s 99% right within a couple of minutes and heights are usually spot on
Another I frequently use is tidetimes.org.uk

In reply to Post #11 I might be wrong, but I had a feeling tide times only appeared on my app when I was near the coast. I live inland so don't usually see them.

Weather apps… I use around 6 and usually they all say different things so often find myself trying to work out ‘an average’ forecast
I do agree the latest version of metoffice isn’t great

In reply to Post #1 Have a look at how many partners it sells your data to. I deleted it and went back to the bbc weather app.
When I downloaded it in November it was 531 partners!

In reply to Post #13 Disregard my last, I cannot go back on my phone to look to see, everything is "screwed". Sat in Club yesterday trying to browse internet and nothing but blank pages or no information showing
O2 has been telling me since early last year my phone will stop working properly as they are going to do away with 2 and 3G. my phone is not 4G evidently according to them, my phone says different, just a few weeks ago they told me to get a new phone, I ignored them, and yesterday morning, I received an txt saying they had chopped me from their 2 and 3G service and my phone is not working too good now to receive anything and everything is messed up.
I have got back to the old version of the app this morning, and I don't even have air pressure on that or tide tables which is why I never used it much. Updating again using my home internet for data now that I am back home, I find, now no air pressure or tide tables on the new version so what I saw the other day, I don't have the faintest.
Need a new phone now......or service provider. O2, I have never liked them, I only stick with them as I have had a good cheap tariff for years that has never changed in price, maybe they are trying to force me off it and get more money out of me.

In reply to Post #12 Just installed another update, both still not there.

In reply to Post #12 Can you tell me where in the app you found them? Thanks

I have just looked at it, mine has been updated and air pressure is there and so is Tide Tables?

They also seem to have removed the tide times, very annoying...

New version is terrible. Whoever developed that and then signed it off clearly spends zero time outdoors.

Not a fan of the new version. Seems harder to navigate compared to the previous version.
I use the xc weather app and unifish.

In reply to Post #1 The new version is dreadful, if you look at the reviews on the app store it seems everyone is saying the same. But yes unifish works well and gives it all on one screen.

In reply to Post #1 I use WeatherRadar and WeatherPro.

I only ever use xc weather, always found it fairly accurate and user friendly .
Use this as well ,again find it pretty accurate

In reply to Post #3 unifish £9.99 per annum ...83p per month

If you need alternatives, I've been using the free unifish app and it's excellent, I've also paid £5.99 for fishing and hunting solunar app which is also excellent even though there was only a 15% chance of a fish last weekend and I caught one 😂😂

In reply to Post #1 Exactly the same, can't find air pressure. Back to using BBC and xc

Anyone else use this app?
They’ve updated it and I swear I can’t find air pressure on it any more. Anyone else found the same, or can explain to me how to find it?
I sound like my dad, but I preferred the old version.
