Alright mate just a quick update with the tent. Ive just tightened all the screws and still its just falling out. I think there is issues with the block so now unsure whether to buy a replacement block and front arms or just cut my losses and get a new tent. As a review for anyone reading this. Ive had this bivvy now for about 4 years and use it every week. I know there has been issues with user error not fanning the bivvy out properly but I never seemed to have an issue with this until after 3 years of using where I noticed the wheels at the front of the block which helps the front pole push round starts to wear down and also after inspection today the ball joint wears away as well. Ive also heard of the back pole breaking in high winds but mine managed to snap when the wind wasn't that bad compared to what ive fished in the past. I also noticed today thst something has snapped inside the block as I can hear it rattling about. Most probably happened at the same time when the pole snapped the other day.
Ive got an old trakker tempest which apart from a dodgy zip on the front door which doesn't affect use that is still going strong after about 10 years of use so if you want longevity stear well clear of fox bivvy's as there not built to last and go get yourself a trakker tempest or aqua pioneer as it will last a lot longer.

Thanks mate
I did try this before but it felt like I was having to try and force the front poles in as the tent material felt really tight compared to usual. I will give it another go at the weekend and see how I get on

Make sure all the allen bolts and nuts on the spreader block are tight, I had the same issue with the front arms popping out and found that most of mine were loose, not had an issue since tightening them all.

Ive got the original fox frontier x bivvy and after about 3 years the front pole on the left started to pop out which I think was due to wear. Went out recently and it was slightly windy and the back rear pole decided to break at the join in the middle. I managed to get a spare pole and reattached it but now still the block is paying up and its really tight trying to push the front poles in and feels like it wants to break if any pressure is placed on it. Ive tried loosening and tightening the screws and also fanning the bivvy out in different ways but it just isn't right. Has anyone replaced the whole front boss assembly block with the front arms and is it easy to do?
Thanks for any help
