There are actually 4 of them.

I managed to buy volumes I, II & III more than 10 years ago when they were available at the original asking price. All of them a great read and appealing to my style of angling.

Additionally, a few years ago, I also purchased the new Vol IV of the journal that was released as a hardback - another good read.

Just need to acquire Gaz's new book "Adrift" now ...

I didn't know Gareth did three of them, these were being released as I was drifting away from carp fishing so didn't know there was three of them.

I would like to get the two I lost back, I got onto Dinton after reading Si's article in the first book - his story and to me what he/it stood for was exceptional and captured in the book so well👌.

Doubt I'll be replacing these books in a hurry or ever get to fish there again either.

Thanks for the replies 👍

Edit1: found a few bundles on the bay £120 for three which seems to be the going rate.

Edit2: someone's selling a v4 limited edition too - what's that one all anyone know?

Volume 3 is still available so not worth more than selling price.
I have them all as well lol
Still got a few others still in the packaging they were sent in that I haven’t opened yet.

I had a big clear out last year, everything went on Ebay and was surprised to make £135 on subsurface volume 1.

They do come up for sale but with a premium price tag.

Id agree with Greenski.

You occasionally see number 2 & 3 come up but the SS vol 1's are rare now a days and hold a high price even for the standard version.

The subsurface magazine's are worth a look imo... great quality as always.

His book. They do come up for sale sometimes. Could email them and see if they have any copies they could sell you.

I've been rooting around in my loft and it looks like the box that had the very first two subsurface books from Gareth and a load of paleo recipe books has been lost.

Now I don't care about caveman cooking anymore, but a little gutted about my original surb surface books.

So got me wondering, do these ever come up for sale and what else was released by Gareth after these that's worth a look is it just the smaller journals?
