Just bought a set thank you. Brilliant idea I fish a gravel pit and the banks are that hard going, it hurts my hands turning them in. Old age and too many other problee

I have not used them but Go Outdoors seem to have a good set of scew in pegs and they get good reviews: -

Something similar... I keep some stainless steel coach screws and big washers in the van. They go into pretty much anything

A good few years ago I bought some threaded tent pegs from the centre isle in Aldi. Paired with a battery driver I doubt anything else would beat them.

Angling Technics anchor lite pegs are excellent to twist into hard ground and are super lightweight.

I bought 12 top notch tackle pegs, they had 20% off.

They weigh very little more than the cheap pegs you get with a bivvy, very well made, just with the wet ground I've not had to use them in anger yet.

Good experience dealing with the company though 👍👍

The short pegs from Top Notch Tackle (sorry, you'll have to Google, don't have the link to hand) are absolute game changers. Not cheap, but absolutely amazing, even in hardcore.
