In reply to Post #5 Etang le Fays is a well set up place, great lake with some chunks to go at. Food is as good as it gets. Catch reports are put up weekly so you can check back on reports.

In reply to Post #9 Snags used to be the best swim buts its fairly even around the lake now. Shallow end can be quite productive in the warmer months.

In reply to Post #7 Been there quite a few times but usually in May and I have never actually seen any weed there. If there is any, its very minimal.

In reply to Post #1 I've used Angling Lines a few times and got nothing bad to say about them. Good communication easy to contact if needed and offer a good selection of venues. I can't comment on the specific venues you've been recommended but can recommend the company

In reply to Post #1 Have s look at Exclusive Carp Venues Brenne.
A bit more than 5 hours, probably 6 plus but 100% worth it, 7 of us had Carp from high 20 to just under 60 with over 100 Xarp caught.
Great value for money snd reasonably shower and toilet.

Hi guys.Me and 5 others looking to book sep/Oct 2026 in France.Any recommended places for lake exclusive or otherwise. Preferably not more than 5 hours from Calais and accommodation not needed. We contacted angling lines and they came up with Lepinet,Cailieaux and Brocard.Anyone been to any of those?and also,I know, angling lines are a reputable company, but are they good to go through? Thanks in advance. Paul.
