Future carping intrepid (made by ripton) is decent. The basic boat without GPS. Had mine a couple of years now.
Compact, very good battery life, good in rough conditions, decent size top loading hopper and single handed remote, decent lights, fast and quiet and turns on a sixpence.
Performed really well on French trips, battery lasts ages. No nonsense, solid boat.

Another vote for Vulcan or the mini version

In reply to Post #1 I picked up a Ridgemonkey boat 2nd hand and that's pretty small. One central hopper and Ridgemonkey stuff tends to be well designed.

Ok im going to go there......
I've always said i would never do it....
But now after catching 3 fish on a lake where everyone else blanked as my presentation was "walked out" to some overhanging trees which were otherwise un-castable I'm slowly changing my mind.
So potentially thinking about a compact \ small bait boat
Something well designed which drops from a central bay and dosnt flip from a rear hopper
Deffo second hand.
Deffo cheep..!
Thoughts..
