Thanks again for the suggestions.

I've not contacted Snugpack yet but worth a go if the zip does need replacing.

I'd not thought about Alpkit, that's a good shout. I'll give them a call if needed.

I had a problem with my Techlite zip, where it would come undone behind the zipper. Not sure if that’s what yours is doing but if so I fixed it by squeezing the trailing ends of the zipper together slightly with a pair of pliers.

That's exactly what is happening. I've managed to close the zip and it's pretty secure. I'm sure it's just the metal zipper bit. I'll give it a squeeze and see if that works. If not I can get some new zippers on Amazon so might try that.

Will try the candle wax idea too

Make sure it is knackered first as a lot of zips just need a bit of candle rubbing on them to free them up.

I recently used Alpkit to replace a broken zip slider and a coat Very good service and did exactly what I wanted done quickly and with no fuss. I would give them a call and see what they can do to help.

Thanks guys.

I've been messing about with it a bit today. I think the actual two zip bits are ok, it might be the pull zip thing that's a bit dodgy. I'll do some more research

I sometimes use a local 'cobbler' for my stitching repairs.

Why dont you try Fortis. You've paid premium money for a bag. I'm sure them or Snugpak will be able to help.

Pretty sure a dress maker or gents tailors or even some dry cleaners would be able to do something like it for you.
Plenty on eBay if you want to DIY

The zip on one side of my bag has been knackered for ages. I was out on Friday night and got a bit chilly with the side gapping open.

Does anyone know where I can get a zip replacement please? I've looked on Snugpac and they don't offer the service anymore.

Looking on Army Andys FB page, I don't think he does either.
thanks
