I use their eBay store a lot, and it's very rare that I dont have offers accepted.

It will also depend on what item it is
If they are not making much on it then they won’t accept low offers.
They seem to be a premier daiwa dealer so can make more money on their items so can pass it on.
They sent me a free daiwa t shirt a couple of months ago.

Oh nice, thats good to know.
Not saying i won't keep them in mind for future purchases, just seems hassle free on ebay if you can make an offer/receive an offer through there. Especially if the feature is available.

Thanks for you comment 👍

TBF... These guys seem up for a deal, or three.

My friend phoned them up about a MK2 Solar C-Tech sleep system, and was able to negotiate a deal on the phone better than any price online

True, i could have. Not really the point i was making though.

There's also other tackle shops i could have called for the same item, but they choose to sell on ebay, and choose to let potential customers make an offer via the feature they put on their products.
Just looks like they never accept mine, nor send counter offers or reply to messages

Why not just call them? I guess not buying via eBay will save someone some fees

Has anyone actually managed to get a deal with Hull angling on ebay using the best offer function?

I swear I've never actually managed to get an offer accepted, nor received a counter offer.
They just outright decline any offer sent, then when you send a message, they don't reply.
This time they declined 2 offers, so i sent a message. I went back on to check the item again and noticed they had amended the item and took the 'best offer' feature off

Clearly doing to well to not try and get business.
