Maybe there starting to get a bit warry of them. Especially if you've been having a few. I doubt the nutritional content is the issue. Maybe change them up a bit colour flavour wise. Good luck.

At this time of year it's only to be expected for captures to decline. The protein content of chickpeas is only around 7 or 8 % . Given that most boilies and pellets have levels up to 30 % and more, the level in chickpeas isn't the reason for the action slowing. Are you still applying the chick peas as per Summer conditions ?

Ladies and gents I've done quite well on curried chickpeas this year, results have slowed and tailed off with the lack of daylight hours and cooling water, which got me thinking maybe the chickpeas have to high a protein content and I'm shooting myself in the foot by keeping on using them or using the quantity through the colder months ?
Any bait gurus shed some light on the pros and cons of chickpeas nutritional value etc...
Thank you
