In reply to Post #1 I've used Rig Marole Hydrolink Extreme to create something similar. Tie a figure 8 loop knot and pass it through the hook multi rig style but pull it right down to the eye. Fold the material by the knot and poke some of the flurocarbon inner out of the braided material and snip it to create a hinge.Thread on your chosen method for attaching a hookbait followed by a hook bead. Steam a c curve in the doubled over section and should be good to go.

In reply to Post #4 Could you make a larger loop, so the knot if further away
You only need to pull the loop through the tubing not the knot? Multi rig style, it's just like a kicker but longer tubing

In reply to Post #1 My only suggestion is for you to put a joint into the hooklink where the weight goes and then pre-make entire hook sections.
Try a short loop of whatever you tie the hook onto sticking out of the end of the withy aligner and then attach it to a quick change Ronnie bead or similar qc swivel….
Still sounds like hard work !

In reply to Post #4 Lubricate it and give it a pull
Or you could use that knot to put the shot or putty on

In reply to Post #3 Cheers mate, that was my thinking just wondering how to get the withy tubing over the knot that is formed when the loop is formed

In reply to Post #2 Use a long line aligner or withy rig tubing and set the hook up multi rig style. Then pull the loop back to the eye (as if it has slipped) then add your doo dads and bells and whistles that you want to use.
Obviously you will also need to replace the anchor weight
