In reply to Post #1 A grinner loop instead of a fixed loop on the hair that tightens down to the pellet works well too. Frank Warwick uses this if you need a vid /reference.

Tie a slip knot on the hair instead of a overhand or figure of 8 knot and lasso them on
If you tie the hair long enough and leave a tag you can open it back up to put a new one in when needed.

In reply to Post #6 Mark demonstrates it on a video on the Lakemore Fisheries website, can't remember quite how it works, think the loop is big and somehow goes thru' the pellet and then loops back around the pellet.

In reply to Post #1 Do a internet search for how to loop pellets on for Catfish. It entails using a super long hair, pulled through the pellet then looped back underneath and around it, to lock it in place. Hard to describe...lol...it also stops nuisance fish from stealing pellets by wangling the stop out.

In reply to Post #1 Use big float stop, big enough to not pass thru. LINKY POO™ https://www.carpology.net/article_uploads/10745-9.jpg
Or just plug it with small piece of match stick or something similar in size, after you attach it to the hair. I use both of those methods.

Hi folks, got some 12mm & 15mm pre drilled robin red hard pellets.
pulled a hair through them and added a boilie stop then realised they slide down the hair towards the hook,
How do I overcome this problem?
Thanks
