In reply to Post #10 I have a plug in sonic deterrent as well as several poison boxes in key corners etc
Winter is the worst time as they look for warmth - main thing all year round is to be v careful with bait, especially pellets and groundbait. I store mine in metal containers and also hang any session related buckets on hooks in the rafters . . .with bedchairs and chairs its easy to get boilie crumb embedded in porous fabrics (solar duracore is particularly bad for this) . . .make sure they're brushed down after a sesh / and hoovered (yes hoovered) periodically irrespective of whether they're in a bag or not.
Also try to hang away from walls if poss - unless you've got a stable temperature cold walls can get damp and you end up with mold spots on your bed fabric / luggage . . . good luck

Thanks for the replies. I’m all over the mouse proofing- the bag is the last line of protection and will help with damp and spider webs. Good idea getting it off the floor I’ll do that. I went for the trakker wide cos it was only £39 which seemed good value

In reply to Post #8 I only bought one as we have false widows (No mice) in my shed and don't fancy sharing a bag with them.

A bag will do nothing to deter a mouse. As mentioned get it off the ground. Ive never seen the point in bedchair bags as there a total pain to get the bed in and out of and then you have to store the bag somewhere.

In reply to Post #1 Id go along with belch in mouse proofing the shaed best you can.
I bought a bedchair bag, biggest pita. Used once and sold it. With beds being so big and heavy now, i found it really took away the point you could pick it up from to move it into and out of the car. I fond it much easier without a bag on

In reply to Post #1 Trakker NXG . . .but it wont deter chewing if its not off the deck. Make sure you've got adequate mouse defence before anything else . . .
