Nowadays I use the DNA sticks, Crayfish in both brown and beige and squid in black.

We fly fish using biscuits to draw the carp in. And have settled on black foam as the best colour not necessarily just for the silhouette but because we can see it better most of the time so can strike before the fish spits it out. Small bits of zig foam maybe 5mm long sideways on a very tight hair works ok. Not done it for a long time but the fake bread.. I can’t remember the company’s name but they do loads of fake baits.. worked on a bolt type float with a pva bag of biscuits attached.

Tails upbaits do a dedicated mixer shapped and coloured hookbait called floaterz if your stuck

In reply to Post #1 I agree with Paul in Post#2, doesn't matter what colour you use, they all look like a black shape when rising from below them. On this basis, I use a bright one for floater fishing which is visible.
If you still want something to match, Cell?
