I will second the Tails up Zigz hookbaits. As well as black they do yellow and I believe pink and white.

As you can see, there are several options, but most are coloured and flavoured. If you want a plain black zig hookbait with no flavour have a look at Tails Up Zigz Hookbaits.

DNA candy sticks
Proper Job tippers (dont know if he still does, but used to do a UB version)
Mainline Zigs hookbait
CC moore about to release a northern special zig hookbait.

Failing all them get a 8mm bread punch and take the centre out of a 15mm pop up.

Try Mainline Ziggers, they're proper hookbaits for zigs. They fit in them zig hook aligner things.

I've used small pop ups in the past with no issues.

I am after a hookbait for zig rigs as my syndicate bans plastic and fake baits. How do cut down pop ups last on a zig, are they bouyent enough for 12-24 hours? Any others bait suggestions would be great.
