Yes, I did! It had some stuff in the pin and managed to extract the offending item with a splicing needle. I got the barb into it and gently eased it out.

Or cut down a match or cocktail stick so it's a good fit, then dab some glue on the end, push it in and pull it out when set.
Don't get glue everywhere though!

Fill it with glue and put a screw in wait for it to set and pull out.

What does the connector look like?
Is it a phono, often called a RCA connector.

If so is the broken pin solid or hollow?

My wife has snapped off the connecting pin from the AV lead in my subwoofer. Can't get a new one as I need to get the snapped pin out. Any suggestions... been trying for hours to get it out with pins etc but so far no luck. Don't really want to scrap a 500 quid woofer cos of this
