In reply to Post #12 Size 6 or 8 Kamakura. Depends on whether I stick out an 18mm Bug, or a balanced SHB.

Tried many and settled on TA Tint Link in 20 and 25lb.
Korda IQ2 if I want something less stiff.

In reply to Post #10 I’ve got a spool of 18lb Korda kontour, been thinking of doing the exact same, what hook you go for with the fluoro ?

In reply to Post #1 ESP soft Ghost in 18lb. Because I’ve always used it and had no reason to change.

In reply to Post #1 I filled two small reels with 20lb XLine and kept the spool to make hooklinks with. Perfect for short session stalking in the edge. Bog standard hair rig, doesn't tangle, and they have problems ejecting it as I can count on one hand the amount of times I've seen them get away with it. Sometimes simple is best.

In reply to Post #1 +1 for Rigmarole camH20 in all breaking strains - easy to knot / manage - no steaming nonsense required

In reply to Post #1 Seaguar ace hard in 0.285mm. I have found that I must use a Palomar knot though.

In reply to Post #1 Used loads but personally prefer gardner mirage and you can get 100m spools so it lasts ages. Tried the Thinking Anglers Tint Link but not hugely impressed with that.

In reply to Post #1 When I use fluorocarbon, usually for booms on a SH or Ronnie I will use Rigmarole's CAMH20.
