They look good pal, must admit, I already have a load of pads for the thermo so I don’t want another one like that

Unless the pads fit that I have?

Zappers just attract them get a flextail, you can have them on a tripod and put it on max and it even works outside your bivvy/van

So dare I say it, if I can’t fix it, what do people think are the best zappers?

So I stripped my wolf one down last night

Got a nice belt up the arm

On the table with the light on now waiting for the power to drain

Don’t strip them live is my advise, as the manufacturers

Been using mine in France, permed amazingly well. I was sleeping in the van. When you get out on a night for fish the bugs were just swarming in. I had a normal led light in they were crawling all over it. Move that next to the zapper and they followed it, turned the LED off, everything jumped off that straight onto the zapper, brilliant 👍

Still got seriously bitten whilst out and about ffs

Imho the light just attracts more flying creatures into your bivvy increasing the likelihood of getting bit

No issues with mine. I've just come back from a week in France; switched it on most evenings at around 7pm - switched it off to charge in the AM - around 8am. Clear bivvy and no bites

I live in the country and I've used it indoors as well to be fair, quite a bit. I reckon you might have a bad battery or it's not charging properly?

Wolf zapper is crap, rebadged Chinese rubbish. Got 3 to 4 hours out of it at most and still got bitten!🤣

Tried mine last night..
Turned the zapper on at 2215 and woke up around 0700 to it being off..
Weirdly it worked when I clicked it on again 🤷🏻‍♂️

I did the same as you but on the first night I fell a sleep and left it on. switched it on the next night but it went out so I re charged it and timed it twice its gone out after 12h. The spec about 3.5 with light and zapper on was spot on 3.5 hours. The ebay shop has said that I can return it on my return but I didn't really want the hassle of an exchange if the next one is going to do the same thing. If it lasted let's say 24H then so be it but under 1/2 of what's stated is not on.

Not Wolf but another zapper.
I only use it for a short while. I get into the bivvy, pull a mozi net over the door and turn it on to kill anything inside, then I turn it off.
Not saying that's it's ok for the Wolf not to meet its specification, that's not on, only that I don't require my zapper to be long lasting until its next charge. Mine is old Maplin one that is solar charged only.

The light on the zapper attracts insects so I see no point in needlessly attracting them into your area, that's why I only turn it on in the situation described above.

Probably the battery is getting depleted as it's zapping moths and other flying insects imho these things are pointless and kill indiscriminately, just wear a repellent.

Bugs matter !

Just wanted to see if anybody else has the wolf camo zapper and had any issue with it. Currently in France and only holding a 12 hour charge on zapper only rather than 29h. I have requested a return from ebay seller for a replacement but don't really want the hassle if anybody else has had the same problem.
