I would wholeheartedly recommend either the Helinox Sunset or Chair one xl,..After using the chair one as my main session chair,course fishing chair and car camping chair,I'd not bother with any carp chair.
They are comfy,very,very light..Well made and very strong,they do not have adjustable legs ,however,I fish camp ,shoot in lots of different places,and never had a problem..
If,when it breaks I'll get another..

Steer clear, I bought one from TFT, initially looked okay, comfy etc… took it for a day session about 3 hours in it felt a bit wobbly, I thought the feet were sliding on the ground, and wondered about drilling a hole in the feet to fit a peg etc, but upon packing down the front leg at the upper hinge had completely broken, the 3 small beads of weld had just torn away from the hinge.. poor manufacturing and design I’d say.

My Trakker is still going strong in spite of use and abuse. I was so lucky with it

I've got a rod Hutchinson guest chair ,cost me about £25 and it's very comfortable. Had it a few years now too

As everyone has said, you want a decent chair, it is going to be expensive! Everyone raves about the solar but i found it uncomfortable and the backrest far too short! (I am the same height as you)
The trakker levellite longback is much lighter than the solar and to me, much more comfortable. But......it is no where near as well made and i have already had one snap at the base of the back rest. I still bought another as i couldn't find an equal alternative

you may have it sorted now, but, its like buying a rod....you have
to try it, my local shop is now as good as closed, no chairs to try,
looked on line found a shop 50 miles away that had a good
selection, I thought I was going to come away with the Aqua, I'm
glad I went, I hated it, after spending a good amount of time pulling
them all apart I came home with the Nash Daddy long legs, it is a
bit higher than my old Korum but still fits under the brolly and very
comfy, it's a recliner with arms, if you have the time go to a shop.

Had both of them and the Solar is in a different league.Its better made and far more comfortable than the trakker,the price of it has gone stupid now though tbf

Solar SP is the price of a bedchair!
I rate the Trakker Transformer - comfy / light and can be used on or off bedchair making it versatile as well as comfy - back is long enough for tall peeps (I'm 6'1")

Have a look at the Fox R Series. I have the R3 and although tots expensive it’s really well made and a good bit of kit.

I agree. I sat in a whole bunch of chairs at the Tackle Box and the Solar one was easily the best. It is the same price as some bedchairs though!

Very tempted to get a Solar chair, problem is I can't see one in the flesh sts locally.
What size did you owners buy and what height are you? I am about 5'11'' and think the low version might be sufficient.

I use a Sonik SK-TEC chair, for pike fishing and carp fishing.
Comfortable enough for sitting in all day, and can be reclined. High enough to get in and out of without breaking your back.

I recently bought the same chair, not used it for any length of time yet but it seems great quality. I’m intending spending overnighters in it when Barbel fishing and I’m confident it’ll be comfortable enough to recline, stick my feet up on a bucket and doze off.

I was sitting in a JRC low chair for absolutely years and badly needed a change; I got the Solar SP C-Tech (higher version) and it's honestly one of the best fishing things I have ever bought; it's not cheap (not sure what your "break the bank" threshold is) but worth considering just due to the sheer quality of it.
