In reply to Post #1 Sounds like the battery connection issue again to me. Some batteries have a less protruding ‘nipple’ at the positive end and don’t make very good contact. I’ve generally found Energizers to be better than Duracells. Small piece of tin foil folded up into a tiny square and wedged between the battery and connector does the trick usually.

Hi chaps , having a few problems with
the fox MX Alarms.
Only bought last August I fish regularly .
Every time I get them out there is no response.
After playing with the batteries they eventually work.
I've already sent one back and it's being replaced.
Now the other two are playing up.
Anyone else had any issues fox used to be reliable.
