Yes, it's definitely on the list

At the end of the day those that fish will probably get very little say in where we actually end up, the wives and kids will no doubt overrule us - we're little more than a cashpoint to them

Book direct with the site for touring caravans or tents etc.

Not been for many years but, it was prolific when I went and has a few wonderful stretches of river in the area for Carping with large fish present.

Thanks for that, found their website and as you say they do do pitches as does the Parc de Fierbois which I'd also excluded as being part of Eurocamp! Bloody Eurocamp just comes up first when you do a google search and I assumed they were all part of the same group

Go direct to the La Croix Du Vieux Pont website, they do have plenty of caravan pitches. We used to go every Easter with the kids but I never fished it, there was no space left in the car for any of my stuff, obviously.

Don't worry I have joined their Facebook page. It seems perfect for the family! Chance of bigger fish and loads of small ones

I went here a few years ago.

https://www.yellohvillage.co.uk/camping/le_pin_parasol

Lovely site and on a massive lake. I fished a couple of hours a few mornings and caught a low 20.
Would have loved to give it a proper go. I think there are some bigger fish to go at.

Probably a 10 min walk to the lake.

Hi

Can I have some suggestions of French holiday parks that are on a lake. Looking for something for 3 family's, 2 will be taking caravans the other renting accommodation onsite. Needs to cater for kids from 15-18 so not so much kids clubs but something with pools, activities etc

We've been to a couple over the last few years to give you an idea of what we're after

Les Genets is on huge lake but campsite was tiny so kids struggled to find others to meet up with

Les Genets

Les Alicourts was great for the kids but the fishing was restricted to a tiny end of the lake and you struggled to get a swim

Les Alicourts

Ideally looking central to southern France so the caravans can do it in a day and hopefully get some sun to pacify the wives

Thanks
