Iirc the “full fat” coke is actually better for you (if drinking acid can be good for you - dilute with Vodka or Rum 😉 ) than Diet

little nutritional value, but carp love them
i personally soak them from dry in full fat Coca cola (i have no idea why people refer coke to full fat )

When I was fishing Eastern Europe tigers were pretty much the go to bait just before the freeze. The only point I would make is we found soaking and boiling worked best. If you let them ferment and get that gloopy sugary goo around them did not work well in cold water for us

My favourite bait - use them everywhere I can... better to buy dry and prepare yourself - much cheaper and you know they're 100% fish friendly.
I soak them in water for 48 hours, then boil for 45 minutes, then soak for another 24 hours - then freeze down. I prepare them in 5kg batches. When I need some bait, I just take a bag from the freezer and thaw out overnight in a bucket of warm tap water. with some Talin added to it (from AA Baits).
Carp love tigers

I'd say bin them. But if your really tight you could wash them of in water and reuse them. Still catch you a Fish or two.

When I open the jar they have scummy like stuff on the top and smell abit sour. To me I would say they have passed their best but as I am not experienced using them I don’t know 😫

Never used tiger nuts before and don’t really know how to prepare so I bought a jar of the dynamite baits prepared tigers. How do I know if they have gone off and they are no good anymore?
