Thanks for the suggestions so far, seems like they're very far and few between.
Maggits lake seems like it may be worth a go for them as there seem to be a few in there.
Celctic lakes is a little far for a 24-48 for me, but thanks for the suggestion. Definitely somewhere to consider for next year with the wife and kids for a little break away.

Probably too far for you but Celtic Lakes near Lampeter (West Wales) has sturgeon to over 100lb.
There are only a couple in there but they come out fairly reguarly.

Sure there’s a lake in Essex …Maggits lake .
Witch lake close to Theford had them years ago until the owner was prosecuted .

Good luck

I hate the bloody things and I only fish lakes now (France) that don’t have them in

Hey all,
Just wondered if anyone knew of any lakes in the UK that hold sturgeon? For some reason I've really got the urge to catch one, probably as its not a species I've had before!
I've had a look online but can't seem to find any that currently hold sturgeon, only ones that used too.
I'm based down in the south east but I'm willing to travel.

Thanks
