Joys of instant, social sheep carpers I'm afraid mate

Some free things are best kept offline and otherwise the circus and fish movers arrive

Yeah facebook carpers ruined a lovely little lake I've been fishing for the last few years and now everyone knows about it.

It was almost completely off radar until people started posting about it on Facebook. Gave up on it once the first lockdown kicked in as it got brought up on a weekly basis by people looking for a place to do a "cheeky overnighter". A certain day ticket near Paddock Wood was sniffing around, and the builders who were working on the hotel took their share.

Sounds like a plan, good luck with it and if possible a heads up on how it goes, plenty of history in that valley.

Apparently there is still some nice fish left in there its just a matter of getting in there and catching a few before the weather warms up and the chavs start venturing out.

Think it's been a free for all for sometime?
Might be worth a bit of a bait up and early mornings before the undesirables turn up?

Does anyone have any info on the lake I heard its a bit of a free for all but its a lovely lake. I had a wonder around it the other day and really like the look of it but I have heard a few rumours about the place about anti social goings on and fish being removed for food by eastern Europeans. I have still seen a few nice carp in there that I would not mind having a go for though. Any info would be great fully received thanks.
