Yes, obviously. Alcohol is a substance that has a severe impact on your brain during long-term usage, clearly. Hence if you want to avoid any health problems, you better stop consuming alcohol. Personally, I stopped drinking after some health problems caused by alcohol consumption. I suffered from severe anxiety and insomnia. These health problems really incentivized me to change my opinion about this drug. So I started reading articles on theluckiestclub.com about the benefits of being sober. Also, I started visiting doctors that really helped me on my road to sobriety. Hope I've answered your question.

In reply to Post #16 Very different despite tasting the same. Real Baileys has whiskey in it, the cheaper ones get their alcohol from white wine...seriously

In reply to Post #2 And you would be mental to use Baileys rather then the Aldi equivalent!

I added a couple mil of flavour to a few mil of voddy and shook them up, then added the pop ups.

In reply to Post #1 Mark Holmes recently posted something on Facebook gluging hookbaits in a solution of malt whisky and citric acid, he seemed to have success with it.

Is Baileys PVA Friendly?
I’m guessing the sticky residue from the Baileys might be down to the fat content congealing in the colder weather?

Only ever use it in the colder months and have done really well on it in the past at certain venues. Glug freebies in it two nights in advance, you get a lovely sticky boilie that leaks it out instantly for ages.
Never did put it in pop ups as I was always concerned with the change to density.

In reply to Post #1 I have got some little pop us glugged in baileys, they have drank it in and its left a sticky residue but soon leaks out once back in the water.
I had a low double on one last week.

In reply to Post #1 I’ve heard some people saying they’ve caught on them, had some in a pot for the last 3 weeks, I intend to use 1 as a hooker and a few others types in a pva bag covering it with what’s left of the “glug “ leaving them for another week

Alcohol (ethanol) is very water soluble and will solubilise ingredients to a higher level than water alone will.
Do we get them drunk or make baits taste better though?

In reply to Post #1 I use baileys (aldi equivalent) instead of milk in my coffee when fishing.

So lads, I’ve recently watched/read a few articles that mention Baileys and other alcoholic drinks used in fishing. Curiosity got the better of me and I am now ‘glugging’ a few hookbaits in Baileys (have to say they smell fantastic)
I just wondered if anyone here has had success using similar alcoholic beverages/baileys in their fishing?
I’m fully aware many of you would prefer to drink it but I would be genuinely interested in hearing more about results with regards to fishing and not with bankside stories of drunkenness (unless of course it is a genuinely great story)
