Castizms seem to be the go to for distance feeder work. The min you mentioned sub £50 I thought Penn/Sonik or Okuma spod reels, might be worth a look at the Okuma Atomic Spod, some good deals with line on Ebay.

I probably fish about half a dozen matches a year, mainly as a social event with mates, I could really do with a reel for fishing distance method/hybrid feeder. Some of the boys use castizms or ci4 ultegras. I'd rather not spend a load of money (maybe 50 quid ish) for something I'd rarely use. I was thinking of using one of my emblems (5000xt) but a spare spool for one is probably about 50 quid anyway! So I need something of around that size, with decent line lay and a half today clutch. Any ideas lads??? Cheers.
