Costs a bit more but the Tempest 200 is a great option. Absolutely massive and dead easy to put up. Hull Angling accepted a best offer of £450 on eBay (listed at £500] when I bought mine last year, they accepted it straight away so it might be worth putting in a cheeky lower bid.

The Fox 2 Man XL Bivvy is class.
im 5ft 10. so I can stand up perfectly everywhere in it.
fits two large bedchairs, plus 2 normal chairs. No problem. Its like a living room.
the amount of people that walk past the bivvy and stop to make a comment is incredible.

The cheapest place to get the bivvy plus the inner lining skin, is englandangling.co.uk

Plus points.
Can accommodate 2 beds and tackle with ease.
Can be bought with options of inner dome and overwrap. Given it's size and HH on the fabric and the fact it's only used twice a year I wouldn't bother with the wrap.
Good sized vents and decent quality groundsheet which is clip in.
It's big on account of the height but the footprint isn't too bad. I measured the groundsheet against my cyprinus 2 man and there isn't that much difference in size.
Great if weather is inclement. Can get 2 guest chairs in the space between bed chairs with ease when raining.
Able to stand up straight inside unless 6 foot plus.

Minus points
Heavy
Takes a while to put up and can be difficult to erect if windy.
Difficult to dismantle and pack away neatly.

Overall tho it's a decent bivvy and the Mrs loves it. Look around for deals. I got the bivvy and inner dome for less than 400.

Not sure lol but if its the same as what's on my spider bivvy it's good, need a light inside even in the day so should stay very cool in the summer especially with all the ventilation. Also very waterproof, another bonus is you can fit a 1 man bivvy or brolly in through the back door which will give even more space.

I've not got one I'm afraid but done a fair bit of research into them and not heard anything bad apart from the original groundsheet was cack but they've since replaced it with a heavy duty one, regarding stability in wind as that was a concern of mine I've been assured several times by owners that they're actually pretty solid.

That gets my recommendation too. Bought one from there earlier this year and very pleased with it. Very large and spacious, not too difficult to set up or pack down and the inner capsule is very useful, especially when taking my which is the main reason I needed a 2 man

Have a look at the solar sp quick up shelter, it's like a mini gezebo so gives you loads of room and great ventilation. Plus comes in well under your budget

I should have said my price range. Talking max £350 so this would rule out the plus.

Hi, what would be the best bivvy to do 24 hour sessions with my son so we both have a decent amount of space?
