In reply to Post #10 Frequent traveller £540 for 10 crossings + £12 per crossing for van = £132 + any peak time payments, still cheaper than standard crossing

Prices have seriously been hiked up for next year. Crossing in May, Ford Kuga with Roofbox, £181. My original booking was £111.

Tried to change my booking again today and Aferry are trying to charge me an extra 70 euros.

Been trying since Monday to speak with someone at Aferry so I can move my ferry booking from last September to next May. They tried to charge me £56 when I did it on-line so now trying to speak with someone but proving to be impossible.

In reply to Post #6 I have been through the same with them earlier this year.
I got told to read my terms and conditions.
Basically they sell the frequent travelers scheme but don't publish there is only a limited number of places available under the scheme on every train. They would not tell me the percentage they allocate to the frequency travels.
Tgey also have a permanent surcharge on at the moment so there are no standard tickets.
Use the ferry we usually do yes it takes longer but they are much better to deal with.
Sorry rant over.

Thank you for your email.
We note availability for Frequent Traveller tickets for your required time is not available, once our allocation for discounted tickets is sold out, it is not possible to make a booking using credit from your Frequent Traveller account I'm afraid.
Our booking system allocates a certain amount of space to each shuttle for all of our different ticket types. Once space on a train has been reserved for a particular ticket type, for example day return tickets, then this departure time will no longer be available for this ticket type. This process also applies to Frequent Traveller tickets.
Our Frequent Traveller Scheme has proved very popular and we have thousands of active members. The allocation for Frequent Travellers discounted tickets is not necessarily low but they are reserved very quickly, particularly in busy periods. Consequently, we advise account holders to book early at times of peak demand. To avoid disappointment, we do make members of the scheme aware that all tickets are subject to availability via the terms and conditions which are available at the time of opening the account.
I am sure you will appreciate that it would never be our intention to prevent any of our customers from travelling at their preferred times but space on the shuttles is limited. We do value your custom and I take this opportunity to thank you for your loyalty to Eurotunnel Le Shuttle.
Kind regards
Jessica
