Hi
I brought a 9 inch Hook 2 with side scan earlier this year and I was amazed at what it shows you.
Pay the extra and get the best, also you can download maps from Genesis live now

I have an 8 foot Bic Boat that i use for for transporting gear and dropping out rigs for pike.
I want to buy a fishfinder and was looking at a lowrance hook reveal 5 with downscan or a lowrance hook reveal 7 with downscan and side imaging.
Anyone use a small boat with a fishfinder what size of fishfinder did you go with. Also is side imaging worth it as the transducer is big compared to just the downscan one.
